Eastlands Homes is a not-for-profit Housing Association operating across the Beswick, Clayton, Opernshaw, Ardwick, Gorton, Levenshulme, Longsight and Rusholme areas of east and south east Manchester.

Set up in 2003 the organisation has grown to around 8,000 properties as a result of two stock transfers from Manchester City Council, other acquisitions and some new build.  We have invested over £130million in improvements since 2003 and this will rise to £180 million by 2014.

Eastlands Homes continues to be a key partner in the regeneration of East Manchester as identified by the  Audit Commission in 2007 when they said that -Eastlands Homes has "a role that extends beyond that of a traditional housing association and which contributes significantly to the regeneration of the area."  It also stated that Eastlands Homes has a strong strategic commitment backed by practical approaches to managing anti-social behaviour and wider crime and disorder.
