JV North is building the equivalent of two-and-a-half homes every working day.
Latest figures show consortium members have started on-site at 330 properties in the first half of the 2018/19 financial year.
Investment over the six-month period has been £375,000-a-day made up of Homes England grant and funds from JV North members.
The work is part of the 2016/21 Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme [SOAHP] that will see the consortium build over 4,310 homes.
JV North Chairman, Nigel Wilson, said: “The latest development figures are outstanding and improve on an already impressive track record that saw JV North members build the equivalent of one home every working day for a decade since forming in 2007.
“Members committed to an ambitious home building programme in 2016 and successfully received large Homes England grant to underpin it.
“In the region of 2,000 homes still need to be delivered before the end of the SOAHP in March 2021.
“Building the equivalent of two-and-a-half homes every working day is the rate we need to be operating at to help us meet demand for homes in the North West.”
The 4,310 properties are being built for Shared Ownership, Affordable Rent, Rent to Buy and Specialist Housing for Rent.
