A JV North member is building nearly 300 homes across 11 sites as part of the HCA’s 2015/18 Affordable Homes Programme.
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is underway building 296 homes for a variety of tenures including affordable rent, market rent, shared ownership and outright sale.
The total investment from the 14,000-home landlord is £33 million with £4.5 million of grant from the HCA.
The schemes include:
Lullington Close: Four 2-bedroom bungalows
Nathans Road: Eight 2-bedroom apartments
Woodhouse View: Three 2-bedroom houses and two 2-bedroom bungalows
Selstead Avenue: Eleven 2-bedroom houses
Greenwood Road: Mixture of 45 2-bedroom houses and 2-bedroom apartments
Greenbrow Road: 52 houses and 78 apartments
Haveley Circle: Five 2-bedroom houses
Bramcote Avenue: Seventy 2, 3 and 4-bedroom houses/apartments
Altrincham Road: Four 2 -bedroom houses and 6 apartments
137 Bowland Road: Six 2 -bedroom houses
Nesfield Phase 2: Two 2 -bedroom houses
In addition to this, tenders are being prepared for a planned start on site in February 2018 for a further 167 homes on two separate schemes under the HCA’s SOAHP programme.
The Scout Drive Learning Disability Scheme for 20 units and the MEA scheme of 147, 2 and 3-bedroom houses and 2-bedroom apartments of mixed tenure of market rent, shared ownership and rent to buy.
