Anti-Slavery Policy

Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement 2021/22

JV North Ltd co-ordinates the development of new homes that are grant funding through Homes England on behalf of its Members (a consortium of Registered Providers of Social Housing).

Whilst JV North’s turnover is below the threshold required to produce an Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement, given the social nature of its business and as an ethical company, the Board of Directors wished to demonstrate its commitment to ensuring its business and supply chains are transparent and free from modern slavery.

JV North expects all its Members and the contractors, consultants and suppliers within its Framework to support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will take reasonable and practical steps to ensure the company’s zero tolerance approach is communicated and embedded throughout its business.

Going forward the Company will:

  • adopt an Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy;
  • ensure its Member’s Agreement includes a clause referring to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the above mentioned Policy;
  • ensure any future Frameworks with contractors, consultants and suppliers captures the Company’s expectations in relation to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the above mentioned Policy.

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
